Longinhos (Margao)

I have noted that there was at least 3 times mention of Longinhos by 3
different persons on
goanet.

Can any one tell me what 'Rechado Bangde' they serve now ?
Whether fried on a frying pan (as home kitchen) or
deep fried ?

One time, it was my favourite restaurant too.
Wherver any NRI or foreigner visit Goa, we used to recommend Longuinhos.
I even remember eating there pork sausages on Ash Wednesday (we only realised
after eating
that we Christians do not eat meat on Ash Wed & Good Fri)

We stopped going there ever since we were offered Deep Fried Rechad bangde
(Stuffed Mackerel).
We complained at the cashier/counter but he did not utter a word.

I also remember seeing Late Rosario Rodrigues (Tiatrist) at the longinhos, he
was there almost
every day. Once we said to him 'We never missed your tiatr' and then he very
politely said '
Deu borem korum bab tumkam ..".

Watch this clip, Longuinhos is seen besides Camara, Cine Lata, Marliz,
Hospicio, Rly Station,
SkyBus etc

Next to longuinhos (to its left) was Penguinos (?) and Lakaki laundry. Opp. to
Longuinhos is
the Margao Camara or Municipality. To its right, other side of the road was
Govt. Tourist
Hostel, now Margao Residency and behind it was the old fish market then after
Cine Lata, Zito
Almeida etc
