<My-my, visiting Longinhos on a daily basis for the past several months has
turned you into a political pundit indeed >[Bosco D'Mello]

No surprises really about 'political punditry', Bosco. Its not based on any
evidence of having a handle on Goa's needs for modern leadership, aka
merit. Instead its based on an apparent indepth and cynical knowledge of
money and muscle power. How else can one be so confident of predicting the
outcome of specific contests?

The 2004 General Elections confounded political pundits who expected the
BJP to sweep into power. The recent UP assembly elections confounded the
political pundits who had cried hoarse about a hung assembly. Goa's election
is in a state of tremendous flux what with all the dirty tricks going on and
the EC (which came out in shining colours in the above mentioned elections)
is seemingly reduced to a keystone kops style outfit in Goa. The results of
Goa's elections are anybody's guess whether informed or otherwise. No
punditry may be required at all!
