------------------------------------------------------- CONVENTION OF THE GOAN DIASPORA FROM GOA INTO THE WORLD Lisbon, Portugal June 15-17, 2007 Details at: http://www.goacom.org/casa-de-goa/noticias.html -------------------------------------------------------
Dear Goanetters Some one told me that candidates are going round distributing money. Not to avoid disappointment of not having received the same I waited at home the whole day. Every day I could see through my window a group of people going house to house with papers in their hands but no one seems to be coming my way. I lighted candles to St.Anthony, the first day, St.Joseph the second day but still no one seems to be interested .My dreams to become rich by few hundreds or thousands of rupees was shattered. Finally I could no longer wait and approached one candidate who was busy trying to convince my good old neighbour .I went to him and said "aAre baba tum anguer kitea passot ieunk naim> tuka mhojem mot naka? " He looked at me and asked me my name. I told him my name. He said "Maka tujem mot naka. " Kiteac re baba mhojem mot tuka naka? amkodde sou mottam assat. " Pixea tujem nanv rollacheruch nam zalear mot khuimchem martoloi? " albert _________________________________________________________________ Spice up your IM conversations.
