Amongst a mountain of other assurances, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar recently promised the residents of Ribandar that he would ensure that within three months Medical services and facilities are available at the old Goa Medical College Hospital in Ribandar.
That Hospital was reportedly Asia’s first hospital and if Manohar Parrikar keeps up to his promise we should be able before this year end to avail medical care at that once great hospital. It would be with nostalgic memories to have our hospital back, the very hospital where many of us were born. Let us hope Manohar Parrikar lives up at least to this one promise.
