------------------------------------------------------- CONVENTION OF THE GOAN DIASPORA FROM GOA INTO THE WORLD Lisbon, Portugal June 15-17, 2007 Details at: http://www.casadegoa.org -------------------------------------------------------
Carmo Although I still can't obtain Plain Text on my computer, I hope this message can be processed by Goanet exceptionally. Carmo, I think it is important that you understand the difference between being trained (like a horse or dog) to do something mechanically at a given command and someone who is aware, with or without much of an education, to think clearly and intelligently. To call Bonfacio a dukor on a public forum is to go beyond the pale and you thoroughly discredit yourself with or without your 'education'. Previously, I had subtly spelt out features of this problem in a lengthy post or two to you, but sadly, it seems to have been to no avail. In fact he was the is the exact opposite. He even counted an ordained Catholic Jesuit Priest who was a B.Tech student, among his close friends at IIT Bombay in the 70s. He has just shown how fortunate Goa is to have the best educated CM Candidate. His virtues as a CM candidate speak for themselves. India is a multi-religious country with a Muslim PHD as president and a Sikh PHD as Prime Minister - so then we should have BJP in Goa. It should not be an "Ami Christao vs Te Kokne" scenario in Goa. Undereducated Dukors should have no place in Goa ! They perceive everyone to be Communal because they cannot think better - Have a chat with Manohar and you will realize what a great guy he is !
