CRUCIAL FLAWS IN AADHAR
Like many others, my finger prints now do not register with most checking
agents. So re- verification irritatingly holds up transactions. In the case of
the many poor denied entitled PDS food on their verified ration cards, it can
be life threatening! Senior citizens cannot draw their pensions. The internet is
sometimes erratic at critical times and we have to suffer so much pain in
addition to waste of time and money. People are talking of crypto currency/ Bit
coins, white and black hackers and cyber insurance, because there is no if, but
when you may be hacked! Unfortunately our government is gung ho on forcing us
to linking their claimed absolutely secure Aadhar everywhere and with no
convenient off line back up! A senior citizen's death certificate requires
Aadhar of the person's parents?Affidavat in lieu mandatory! Now they are
removing the address from Passports etc and it appears our lives will in future
depend on Aadhar? So if the government decides someone is anti national or
hurting their sentiments, decides to change/block the number, that person is
non existant?. Why do we have to fight for our privacy, have no freedom of
choice and have to sign government forms stating we voluntarily permit the
government to do so? The justification given is that private companies have all
our data since we are using smart phones. Well, the big difference is I do not
mind private company getting my data, because there is nothing much they can do
compared to what the government/bureaucracy is doing to me/ can do to me! I
trust the Supreme Court will insist on checks and balances in permitting the
government on legitimate use of Aadhar with off line back up to cover snags in
public interest?
