"Fifty to sixty years ago this was the place everybody went to after a trip to
the Margao market.

Loja Moosa for canned provisions,  Marchon?s right there in the old market for
alcohol or perhaps Casa Filu a little distance away and following that
Longuinhos for a midday beer and snacks."
Nicely done Roland Francis.
Fifty to sixty years ago would be the  time frame when I rode my bicycle for
five years  to the old Instituto Abade Faria in Margao for the "Quinto Ano de
Liceu" where along with  many other subjects I learned English as my third
language.Though a bit young to hang out at Marchon's my mother would
occasionally take me there for "cafe e pasteis".
Looking back, those were very good days.
