CONVENTION OF THE GOAN DIASPORA FROM GOA INTO THE WORLD

Mr. C.A.Bhandare wrote:
Also some vocal brahmins from Margao under the guise
of a NGO carried a virulent anti parrikar campaign
because they couldnt gain access to corridors of power
when parrikar was CM. With Kamat being CM these people
have achieved their target.

I do not understand why Mr. Bhandare thinks that the "some vocal Brahmins
from Margao"
would have had any less "access to corridors of power" under Parrikar than
they, presumedly,
are going to have under Digambar.
Parrikar, just like Digambar and the "Margao Brahmins" are all one and the
same:
Saraswat Brahmins. Whether Hindu or Christian, they are the same, think the
same, behave
the same way and vote in the same manner).

The only difference between Digambar & Manohar is that the former is secular
whereas the latter
is rabidly communal. The politicos know very well that the Margao
electorate is very secular whether
Hindu, Christian or Muslim, - Brahmin or otherwise.

I agree that Manohar is an excellent manager as far as administration is
concerned - though he is quite
a tyrant with his subordinates and lacks people skills.
However, the fact that he is rabidly communal completely obliterates his
good qualities.

India is a secular country and so it must remain.

It is also the greatest democracy of the world whose constitution is based
on the best elements
of each of the great constitutions and common laws of the other great
nations.

The people have spoken, let us hope that the message gets delivered and
understood!
