I think it is important "NOT" to trust any food from any source, unless home 
grown/cultivated/farmed. The food supply chain today is exposed to pesticides, 
GMO chemicals, additives, toxins, contamination, pollution, etc. to be 
considered safe. I don't consider any outside food 100% safe, it is just a 
matter of  how unsafe the food is. Even in so-called advanced countries with 
advertised organic products, I would take their assertion with a grain of salt 
(which may be contaminated too!). Stay local, preferably home-grown if possible.

P.S. Have you seen restaurant kitchens where you eat at?
