Dear Readers Sad to say again and again that a local newspaper was unable to cover a detailed news quite a long time of this footpath which is privatize in the heart of city and is being misused by not allowing pedestrians to walk. Earlier another local news daily has published a short news report but nothing happened. So, I requested this local news daily to expose this scene where a photograph was sent two weeks back while washing their cars on this footpath but I am still awaiting for publishing. Could it be due to some influence from the EDCON & Co. builders who might have links with the ruling Goverment? I have even mentioned that the management and students of Don Bosco school are the worst sufferers as they are unable to use this footpath which is just opposite to the school and being vital for them to walk before and after school hours and also pedestrians as well as senior citizens. Their building security staff, stops the public to walk on this footpath but to use the roadside. Moreover the owners of this building have barricaded with the rope and have put signs of No Parking all around. Other vehicles are seen parked on road just sideways of this footpath thus making still more difficult for pedestrians to walk. Only two recent photos taken by me are attached to see how this footpath looks upon with a nice tiles on it and two enclosures of trees plantation. CCP was first informed but no action is taken. TO WHOM WE SHOULD APPROACH TO USE THIS FOOTPATH?
