Every politician wants to remain in saddle, Once having tasted power , it is like addiction to opium , seek it no matter what.Politicians stick to power and position like limpets .They vouch for sacrifices to the general public at immense personal costs to their personal life and family wellbeing . Never ,ever will they reveal what they benefit directly by tax free salaries,perks like free travel , medical care, free postage ,phone, electricity, water,pension Besides allowances free travel subsidised food, allowance to attend sessions and subsidised meals . Then there is always. Illegal gratification associated with position and power ,and selling govt jobs,and allowance to celebrate national days at their residences. Interest free or minimum interest loans. Free petrol. , staff and police to guard them. ,commissions from every project even before it starts .Why on earth will they jeopardise their benefits and have you ever heard of any politicians admitting their bonuses without any accountability of time or work on daily basis Right from Election Day ,their energies are geared towards preparing and wining next elections in perpetuity They will swallow all insults expletives hurled at them till they win. It is only after elections they display their arrogance and snap back at you Few give up due to ill health and call it a day . But they would prefer to go down with boots on and hog all the lime light to the grave Some maybe honoured with monuments to their immortal memory or install just like Idi Amin ,lest people forget them Look at CM. His state a pitiable condition , running affairs from hospitable bed in USA and now from confines of his house converted into temporary home hospital. He will serve the state till his last breath .He is so indispensable and those minions singing his glories are his cronies living under his shadow and patronage They fear his ability to corner their misdoings and dossiers to minutest details Poor CM can hardly stand, talk, read ,and moving about with nasal tubes and discharge bags hanging by his frail sides This is classic example of holding on to power at all cost for the love of power, position .This is absolute greed for power at its best and no better example in the history of Indian Politics Even Arun Jaitley has nominated his reliever in his absence May their tribes increase and multiply, as we cannot do without them to enjoy our democratic freedom to vote and be disappointed
