Late Fr. Antonio Pereira S.J. wanted to keep a name for the typewriter in
Konkani. And after a long wait he found the correct word. He named it
boddbodddem. He also gave an explanation why this new name is suitable for
the typewriter. When you are typing it makes such a noise that is enough to
shut your eardrums.
And there are some Goanetters there like old typewriters. Goanet-ar sodanch
