The so called High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) is yet another mega fraud on the vehicle owners and must be scrapped forthwith. The perpetrators of this scam must be brought to book. As there is neither a GPS chip nor any tracking device what is the high Security behind these sham number plates? The government with vested interest has been causing unnecessary inconvenience to the people. And the Goa RTO after having gone totally cashless needs to explain as to how within its offices cash is being collected for these number plates. The government must forthwith recover all the money paid to the contractor Real Mazon India Ltd for having taken Goans for a ride under the garb of HSRP.
We are made to pay very high road tax for the potholed roads we have to grapple with in addition to the stray cattle and dogs adding to our misery on our very accident prone roads. A very insane state of affairs It is imperative that the government ensures that anything it introduces in the State is done only after a thorough study and proper application of mind. Ministers should act and function always for the best interests of the public and not to enrich their pockets.
