It is shame and disgrace , that well orchestrated visit of USA President Donald Trump had to be shadowed by violence It does not make India proud to stage worst types of violence, arson ,destruction of life and property at Delhi, where Trump was on his last leg of finalising deals Certainly international press will highlight this misadventures deliberately planned and systematically executed, when the law enforcing agencies were tasked with unprecedented security tasks. The police in Delhi have failed to nip the trouble in the bud The rallies for and against CAA and direct provocations and instigations were a formula for the riots. The police should have taken routine measures that are standard procedures The inadequate force and delay in actions has fuelled the riots The rioters were armed with lethal weapons to inflict serious damage The pre and post election speeches of hatred , provocation have only fuelled the events that followed. The damage to Indias international image and loss to life and property is sad commentary There is absolutely no justification for not preventing the violence at various places Grievances however reasonable must br channeled through proper routes The perprators irrespective of party affiliations, positions etc must be dealt with iron hand The intelligence failures to prevent riots of worst types cannot be condoned Heads must roll too and stringent actions against the violators of peace must be under attest Whether army deployment, shoot at side orders will be watched for effective control of the situation Nelson Lopes Chinchinin
