Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant visit on board Angriya on 25th February 
2020.

The Hon. Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant visited Angriya, Goa's very 
own and thefirst Indian flag bearing domestic cruise ship at Mormugao Port 
trust at Vascoon the 25th of February 2020 along with MLA Vasco Shri Milind 
Naikand Chairman of MPT Shri DR E Ramesh accompanied by various state and 
centralofficials.

The Hon. CM wastaken on a ship tour and visited the Engine room, forward heli 
deck, Gaaj restaurant,luxury pods and underwater cabins on board Angriya. The 
Hon. CM also appreciatedthe infinity sea swimming pool on board Angriya.

Angirya has successfullyreactivated the nostalgic Goa – Mumbai sea route for 
travelers after a gap ofthree decades and connected the holiday capital of 
India to the financial capitalof India.

In its second sailing season this Goan owned and managed cruise ship has 
provided a boost in the Indiancruise tourism sector and ferried 75,000 plus 
passengers in over 200 plusvoyages and placed this sea route on the global map.

Leena Kamat PrabhuExecutive Vice Chairman of Angriya Sea Eagle Ltd presented a 
memento to the HonCM Dr Sawant and informed him of the special measures taken 
to showcasemaritime history and marine diversity of Goa, promote green ship 
mandates andset high marine tourism goals on board Angriya.

 CM appreciated theefforts of Team Angriya and hoped that more travellers opt 
to travel and holiday on Indian seasand also use sea routes for water transport 
as well as corporate and socialevents. He expressed a desire to sail on board 
Angriya soon from Goa to Mumbai.

Angriya sailsevery alternate day from Goa-Mumbai- Goa and is designed as an 
outward lookingship to give the guest a complete ’being at sea experience. With 
two vast decks,one of its kind infinity pool and an array of at sea activities, 
Angriya promoteslocal cuisine and Konkan cultural and ecological diversity.

The CM also interactedwith crew and hospitality team on board Angriya and 
appreciated the technicalskills and efforts of the all Indian team in this 
freshly emerging sector ofmarine and coastal tourism.

The other delegatesaccompanying Hon. CM included Trustees and senior officials 
of MPT, Trafficmanagers, CISF Deputy Commandant Kuldip Bhagat, Assistant 
Commandant T Ajayan,DySP Goa Police Raju Raut Dessai and PI Vasco Pravin Pawar 
amongst others.

the visit of Hon. CMand other delegates and articulated Angriya’s commitment to 
connect people, culturesand experiences at sea on board Angriya.
