To my knowledge, the Konkani word for motorcycle is fottfottem, given
after the sound it makes - fotto-fotto-fotto-fotto. Miguel novem
fottfottem ghevn kal amger eilolo. (Yesterday, Miguel visited us on his
new motorcycle).
The Konkani word for car is danvterem. "Dumingachem Consul danvterem
sobit dista". (Domnic's Consul Car looks beautiful).
But I could be wrong.
