When the type of governance is meant for only one community, and with no initiatives all, the old industries will die. Looks like in our life time nothing will change. In countries like Japan, South Korea etc entrepreneurs (selling their home products) have government backing to open outlets in the South East Asia region, thereby fueling artisan industries in their own countries.
