This almond drink was my favourite, widely available during the portuguese
days. It is still made in some homes and I drink the diluted drink
offered(almonds are expensive) and think of the real mcoy I had the good
fortune to enjoy when we used to come yearly to Goa on holiday. Even the
grandmother's cooking on slow fire (leaves/wood) and ingredients
uncontaminated and high quality, the taste of which no one can provide
today! I congratulate Eunice for her effort and I hope all those healthy
drinks will be available in popular stores and malls. Those who cannot avail
at today's prices (which Govt/some sponsor may help lower), may save and
savour them at least sometimes!.
