Sometimes when I am terribly bored, I open one of
Cecil Pinto's posts. I'm always entertained by his
vast knowledge on subjects like Konkani songs,
esoteric Konkani words and 10 ways to answer a phone
in Konkani. This vast repository of knowledge
pertaining to Goan trivia and fluff, is indeed a
national treasure and should be in someway
immortalised in Goa's hall of fame. Ofcourse, perhaps
he has already achieved such immortality in the minds
and hearts of impressionable women all across the
world, not to mention the odd ex-tinto man. I don't
know, I don't know much about Goa or its local folk
heros.

Anyway Mr Pinto, do carry on with your light-hearted
and frothy humour but try also to heed to Alfred
Rose's message in the song, and keep away from
weightier subjects, because:

"Kunkru kunru kum kelear rebek zaina"
