It was very sad to get a message early this morning that our dear Rev. Fr Conceicao D’Silva, the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Snow Church Raia had passed way after suffering a massive Heart attack very early morning. Have known the very warm hearted and charismatic Fr. Conceicao for decades and last met him for the Raia Church Feast two years ago.
Fr Conceicao was an activist who was very ever so vocal about his concern for Goa. He was also very active in propagating the cause of Konkani. In his untimely death we have lost a outspoken Warrior who highlighted issues concerning Goa through his fiery and blunt sermons. May the Soul of our dear departed Rev. Fr Conceicao D’Silva rest in eternal Peace.
