Edwin Fernandes: Usha was part of a band of 4 sisters called the Sami sisters namely: Indira, Uma, Maya, Usha They were the original Spice Girls of Bombay, full of spice and pep. They were all Bombay based. Their father was a high ranking Police Officer. You have perhaps mistaken Asha Puthli another outstanding Bombay singer, songwriter, actress etc to be one of the Sami sisters.
