The world economy has evolved into a finely tuned instrument that covers the whole space of global trade, commerce and currency as if it in a large, crowded room.
Just as a musical trio playing good music must be heard in silence and lack of movement in the room, so must the world economy hum in smooth rhythm if it is to benefit the countries that participate in it. Then comes the real bully in the room posing as the world’s most powerful (in several ways) democracy and unthinkingly tampers with the delicate electronics that control the acoustics. All these sanctions that have been put crudely put into place with the sole aim of taming the apparent bully, as different from the real bully, are tampering intentionally or unintentionally with the well being of hardworking middle class and poor people the world over. We are seeing this already.
