Very very APT There is an African proverb that could shed a little light on the subject:
"Until the lions have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.” Chinua Achebe And with all due respect tyo lions whom I do not hunt and they have left me in one piece since 1942. Even in 1963 in the outskirts of DSM they were more after wild pigs than ACM I note also that Ngugi has not made it...the excuse is that his theme is the same ,,,Ngugi was a year behind me in Makerere, we were rival in the Inter Hall. I do not think that when people write, fight for the rights of others ..they are thinking in terms of winning the Nobel Did anybody refuse the Nobel Prize on what grounds I wonder ???
