Dear Goanetters I came across wonderful parents.The family of five children.Elder two were girls and last three were boys.The parents brought the children with love.Initially it was using a stick, frightening the child but all the time it was not frightening the child but giving time to the child.The mother was at home and hugging the child and putting these words in the child"Mummy loves you"As the child became teenegers the training programme changed.The mother (father was working abroad) used to wait for the children to come home and sit to gether for lunch and di nner.Every action that was req;uired was properly explained to the children.Even when the children asked for a motorbike it was refused to them with an explanation. Late night parties were denied but the children were told what is the consequence of those parties.The children understood mother's decission. The children were made part of the programme of the family.They would plan the entire family outing,the place,the menu etc. The mother would ask the children."What shall I cook for you tomorrow? what do you like for lunch.The children felt that they were part and parcel of that united family.They grew up well. When the children wanted to attend a dance the parents would accompany them and wait till the children were satisfied.Those boys whose motives were only fun would stay away from these two girls.The boys also grew well.Can we have such a nice family?
