Determination to reach the goal , a success story It was a indeed a pleasant surprise which i just could not believe it to be true As a little school boy he used to collect waste and newspapers on the cycle.I used to pity his state and realising that he was doing it to support his education, I gave him free the newspapers. The young lad carrying the load on Highway on bicycle seemed scary and dangerous adventure.True he surged forward unmindful of the traffic constraint and risk involveled, as there was no alternative. He gave up his studies as he could not cope up after std VIII. FIRST he managed to save too and invest in the cycle Today a pick up stopped and someone was walking towards my house .Well believe it or not it was the same boy driving the tempo truck which he owned and i could not believe my eyes He has grown over the years collecting waste , as usual for his living He managed to drive himself too a second hand pick up as he humbly added I refrained in my curiosity to inquire about the cost or whether he has taken loan Anyway who on earth would give him a loan to purchase for his rag picking business and guarantor or surety next to impossible I was overjoyed at his advancement to a different level in all humility I told him not to weigh metal scrap and newspapers but just to give what was due He left sone notes which i have still to count and not eager to do so anyway My admiration for his work and determination knew no bounds Is it a story from rag to riches , definitely it is a case in point. I was filled with joy at his new adventure which opened up many alternative routes to explore and earn his living Together with his brother they have decided that his father should be rested from work and earning and deserves retirement from backbreaking labour.The mother too is now confined to the home and prevented from doing odd jobs for a living Three of their sisters are married What a praise worthy consideration to the parents. IT is really an amazing example to be emulated at self sufficiency of determination to achieve the goal at all costs and under trying circumstances During the monsoons as his job is not feasible , he has decided to take a trip to his native place UP for a well earned holiday There is no doubt that he is proud of his achievement and was beaming with smiles as he narrated to me his story of success and joy It is an example of self made man working steadily towards his dream It is a story that deserves to be told repeatedly
