We have often discussed learning konkani. quite a few have expressed interest We’re exploring the possibility of a beginners group for *bardezi konkani in romi script.* *The course would have* *- some regular online interactive classes,* - *some homework* and *- some (limited) online support.*
The person with whom we’re exploring anchoring this initiative *is a native speaker, with some experience in designing an interactive course.* The initiative would be for absolute and almost beginners. mainly those interested in learning Konkani outside Goa, where possibilities are limited. But also those in goa who don't speak konkani and understand very little of it. *Whoever is interested, please dm me Anjali Noronha at* *+91 7748018661* *please put a # beginners konkani class* at the top of the dm. So far, we've got positive responses, and hope to start the same sometime in June 2023, if there is a sufficient interest in the same. Will update the progress and next steps periodically.
