Dear Fellow Goans,
On behalf of the Goan Welfare Association, Qatar , I extend
our best wishes to all the Goans around the world on this
8th Anniversary of the World Goa Day. Rene Barreto has
provided tremendous leadership, inspiration, energy and
vigor to the concept of a Goan Spirit across the world.
This event has now become an important event for the whole
Goan community throughout the world. Despite living in so
many different countries we always retain our culture and
identity.
In order to have a larger participation from the Goan
community in Qatar, this year the Goan Welfare Association,
Qatar will celebrate World God Day 2007 at the end of
October due to the summer holidays in August.
On the occasion of World Goa Day 2007 celebration in Qatar
, Shri. Eduardo Faleiro, Commissioner for NRI Affairs,
