Hi Miguel,
I'm always in awe of your grasp of Indian and Goan
history, so I have to take some delight in providing
this tidbit of information :-)
Although no one can specifically trace the genesis of
the Aryan race, it is fairly well accepted that they
were Northmen from what we now call Nordic countries,
who rode roughshod over most of Europe, disrupting the
tenuously united Empire founded by Frankish-German
king Charlemagne. The Arabs upon seeing them, called
them "Russian".
There are several similarities in language between
these Aryans and what we know of as the Indo-Aryan
civilisation such as the mythology and including the
dreadful caste system which was all too prevalent in
the societies of these Aryan tribes in Europe.
The Aryan script was cuneiform and spread via and was
possibly refined by the Persians, while the Roman
script originated in Rome and spread via Western Europe.
