Its charming to cross by ferry. I live in Betim and have to cross by ferry
as I'm two minutes walking distance from the ferry point. They should allow
the Betim ferry only for passengers and not two-wheelers, who just occupy
most of the space meant for passengers. The reason being, they don't want to
use a helmet, as they have to do, while crossing the Mandovi Bridge and to
save a few rupees of petrol. We used to have two ferries, now there's only
one ferry.
The ferry in the picture either is the Divar one or from Divar to Narve or
Aldona to Corjuem.
