Many thanks for your reply and clarification. I cannot disagree with you one
bit about the other side of America that is significantly different from the
goons currently running the country. For this reason, America and Europe have
drifted apart quite significantly in my view and of course, the degradation of
Iraq by America has not helped in the least. A new book spells out this
degradation rather well: Klein Naomi (2007): The Shock Doctrine: The rise of
Disaster Capitalism. Allen Lane. I have read three major extracts from the book
and intend to see Naomi in person at her presentation of the book and a
discussion of it this evening in London.
Incidentally, on this side of the pond, Mario and his ilk would be seen as
deep blue and the liberals or radicals as brightish red or with a touch of
yellow!
