Dear Mr Parriker,

Very well written...you are right, I too strongly advocate that Goans should
wake up now...or never...we need young Goan youths like Jack Sequeira to
protect Goan interests...

sadly despite of so many calls, we even at Goanet are more bothered to talk
about consensual sex and if being gay is right or wrong...meanwhile Goa gets
raped by the mine owners, politicians and the aam aadmi gets taken for a jolly
good ride...

Goans face extinction within the next decade...but who is responsible for all
this...the Goa of today cannot even tackle the garbage menace, pollution,
traffic, water supply etc...and we are going for more casinos...which give the
politicians a chance to make a fast buck.

The media in Goa is dead....was murdered by politicians and the ruling
factions...at least we through Goanet could do something worthwhile for Goa and
Goans, but somehow...this forum is not waking up to real issues than mediocre
postings by a group of people way into the autaumn of their lives....scattered
in various parts of the world who know little if nothing about the current
scnario in Goa.

I live in Margao, today margao is worst than vasco or a baina...u find such an
influx of ghanttis all over the place, that is it difficult to find a Goan
among the herds of outsiders. Although we have a Cm from Margao at the helm,
Margao is the most dirtiest citiest of Goa and nobody has bothered to do
anything about it. The Margao Municipal Council, which once used to be the hub
of the administration of the city, is reduced to nothing but a brothel for the
various councillors who act like pimps and do power broking for the higher
politicians.

Malaria is rampant, roberies and prostitution along with matka and ghodghodo
are openly going on with the pockets of the police well filled...this is the
Goa of today!

Regards
