1. Goans v/s Bhailes in Goa (cedrico dacosta),
once the ramparts were demolished on 18 December 1961, and the Goans
remained passive spectators, this - the flooding of Goa with outsiders -
was a foregone conclusion. It had started to happen in East Timor after the
Indonesian occupation in December 1975 but the East Timorese pulled up their
socks and did what they felt was necessary at great sacrifice and the fate
of East Timor has been very different.
