Goa MLAs move SC against

NEW DELHI: Two Maharashtrawadi
Gomantak Party (MGP) MLAs on Friday challenged before the Supreme Court a
decision of Goa Speaker Pratapsinh Rane restraining them from voting in the
House during the pendency of a petition seeking their disqualification under
the anti-defection law.
A Bench
comprising Justices H K Sema and L S Panta took up the petition filed by the
Dhavalikar brothers Sudhin and Deepak and issued notice to Congress MLA
Agnel Fernandes, who had moved the disqualification petition against them.
