Computer engineer drowned
Panaji, Oct. 2 (PTI) A 24-year-old computer professional died at Goa's
Calangute beach in north district, police said today.
Amit Ashok Soni, hailing from Chattisgarh drowned in the seawaters on Monday
morning when he had gone for a swim, they said.
Soni was a part of the 19-member-group that came to visit the tourist state.
"Soni was employed as a computer engineer with Mumbai-based Sintel software
firm and had come down with his colleagues here on Saturday," S Chodankar, Sub
inspector, Calangute police station, said.
