In this thread, the point made by Mashall is valid only if the exhibition in
question was organised by the BJP.
Secondly, even if the BJP did not do anything, does it mean that the plight of
the Kashmiri Pandits should be ignored? More than 300,000 have been living as
refugees in their own land, since 1989.
Comment:
Sachin, you and I and everyone knows that the organisation holding the
exhibition is from the sangh parivar stable which includes the BJP. The main
purpose of the exhibition as is obvious to anyone is NOT to highlight the
plight of Kashmiri Pandits but to exploit their conditions and create hatred
against the muslims and other minorities. Had there been sincerity in their
approach, they would have highlighted the trauma faced by all the victims -
hindus, muslims and others. Moreover, it is an established fact that more
muslims have died or suffered in the insurgency in Kashmir but this information
is knowingly suppressed by the sangh parivar because it will not fit into their
scheme of things.
I do agree that the Kashmiri Pandits should be rehabilitated in their homeland.
But the sangh parivar is not sincere about this. Please let me know what
measures they have taken to rehabilitate them, other than use them for
propaganda purpose.
Spread of hatred and venom, creating divisions in society, instigating violence
are definitely not measures to create a harmonious society.
Cheers!!!
Marshall
