Thank you Ana Maria, I am appearing for the All India Exam (XAT) there is a certain advantage if you can show that you are of goan origin. I had asked for details from GIM and I received their reply only today:
If you can get either of your grandparents birth certificates, those of your respective parent and then yours, it should be sufficient as proof of your Goan origin. All the best! This will help all the others who are in a dilemma about proving that they are of Goan origin! Thank you goanet for all the replies to my query - I do not particularly enjoy chourico, Feni or pickle made from dried parra fish - yes I am goan enough to enjoy good humor! Mariam
