Godgoddo reigns supreme! BY HERALD REPORTER MARGAO, OCT 15 Godgoddo and other forms of gambling ruled supreme in Colva as the village celebrated the traditional Fama of Infant Jesus on Monday. Around a dozen tables could be spotted in the fair put up by gambling organisers, as people lined up since morning to seek blessings and venerate the Miraculous statue of Infant Jesus. Incidentally, a Margao-based gambling organiser was also spotted at Colva, indicating that the activity was carried out in an organised manner with patronage from the powers that be.
