A church group is comprised of members and, by definition, they represent an
association. The law recognizes the uniqueness of socio-religious groups, and
accords them extra leeway in conducting their affairs, which includes their
finances. A State judge dismissed a law suit filed by a dissident group against
the management trust of the largest Hindu temple in New York: he ruled the
temple was not a democracy and not obliged to call for an election to fill it's
Board. That Trust holds five million dollars, of which three were gifted by a
Konkanni woman.
I get the impression that Albert has opted out of his former membership in
the 'association' that is known as the area Catholic Diocese. If indeed he
has, he then forfeits any moral claim to raise the demands listed in his
complaint on Goanet.
Turning to Piety, i assume the former alias retains the right to
crossexamine office holder Loiola, since he so firmly disavows the ideology of
the group, writing elegantly in his new and improved 'class' identity.
Roland - call me when you done scratching your pate, will illuminate.
eric.
