Hi Roland
I am currently unable to retrieve posts on my computer screen, after the
first two pages/scrolls, for reasons totally unknown. I therefore apologise in
advance when responding to a small point in one of your posts, entirely from
fleeting recall of what you had said.

I definitely do not feel "hurt" that Fr Loiola did not reply to the five
questions I had sent him after he himself had indicated a keeness to reply to
me! I am merely disappointed about this but this is no big deal for me. If Fr
Loiola, on reflection, considered it unwise to reply to my straightforward
questions about the linkage between caste and the Catholic Church, he could
have indicated among many possibilities that:
  a) he had no wish to reply,
  b) he did not know the answers to some or perhaps all the questions,
  c) he had a preference to respond privately i.e. out of Goanet public glare
or even through a telephone conversation etc.

I would have been happy with any response from him but it was his silence,
despite gentle reminders, that was disappointing to say the least---especially,
after his expressed initial inclination to respond to my questions on Goanet.
Despite all this, I have absolutely no quarrel with Fr Loiola and will probably
ring and have a chat with him one of these days.
  Regards
  Cornel
