Talk on Threat To
Communidades
Panaji, 22nd October: - There will be a talk on "threats to communidades" by
Mr. Savio D'Souza and Adv. Andre Pereira at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday the 27th
October 2007 at CARITAS, St. InezPanaji.
Mr. Savio D'Souza and Adv. Andre Pereira are well known for their study and
knowledge of comunidades in Goa and how our so called democratic
administration has almost destroyed this ancient community system in Goa.
Mr. Averthanus D'Souza, the well-known environmentalist, will preside over
the meeting. The talk is being organised under the aegis of Jagrut Goem and
is a part its program to spread awareness in the Goan society about issues
which need to be understood and on which citizens need to take a stand.
The talk is open to public and will be followed by interaction with the
audience, informs Shri Aravind Bhatikar, Convenor, Jagrut Goem, in a press
release.
