Seminar on NRI Goan issues. A delegation from the State of Goa headed by Hon'ble Shri Eduardo Faleiro, Commissioner for NRI Affairs, Government of Goa is visiting Kuwait from November 6-9, 2007. The delegation includes Vice Admiral (Retd) John C. D'Silva, Chairman, Overseas Employment Agency of Goa and Mr. Ulhas D. Kamat, Director for NRI Affairs of Goa. During the visit, Hon'ble Shri Eduardo Faleiro and the delegation would like to interact with the Goan NRI's, and as such, the Goan Welfare Society, in association with other Goan Clubs/Organisations, invites all Goans living in Kuwait, to attend in large numbers, and participate in a joint seminar, which will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 6.30 pm at Carlton Towers - Kuwait City. Do come prepared to address issues related to the overall public interest of NRIs, with particular focus on Goan issues. It is proposed to prepare a joint memorandum based on the discussions held at this seminar and present the same to the Commissioner of NRI Affairs, Govt of Goa, for favourable consideration and appropriate action.
