World Wide Non Residents Goans celebrate
"WE STILL CALL GOA HOME" in Goa
On Saturday the 19th of January 2008 a grand Dinner Dance will be held at
the Mandovi Riviera in Panjim, Goa.
"We still call Goa home" is the theme of the grand Inaugural Dinner Dance
organized by the Alliance of Goan Overseas Associations, will come alive for
Non Resident Goans and their guest beginning at 6:00 p.m. with pre drinks,
followed by a deluxe sumptuous Goan dinner and dancing to your hearts
content to the music by Goa's numero uno band - Forefront.
Tony Colaco, General Secretary of the World Alliance of Goan Overseas
Associations - and President of the Goan overseas Association, Sydney ,
Australia - said, "We have accepted the challenge to put this event together
in a short time despite the logistics of time differences and distance."
He added, the commitment and dedication and flair of the organizing team
comprising of Antonio Mascarenhas - Canada, Benito D'Souza - UK, Rene
Bareto - UK and Vivian D'souza - USA is a testament of Non Resident Goans
can do if we are all united and rowing in the same direction".
Shri Edward Faleiro will be the guest of honor for this event.
All funds raised by the event will be donated to deserving Goan Charity.
We are expecting to fill in the numbers quickly given the number of overseas
Goans on holidays in Goa around that time. To avoid disappointment you are
