Dear Edwin Goans around the world are rallying around to fight the land mafia menace in Goa. The Goan expat community has been previously disconnected to Goa. Now we have to engage ourselves and work hard for a better Goa. The people of Goa need all the help they can get. Other initiatives are under way. Although not physically present in Goa, we support all of you.
I urge Goans around the world to email/phone/text/fax their friends and relatives in Goa to join the peaceful protest movement. Ask them to take part in the various meetings, protests being held. Everyone counts. If every person did just one thing, we can make a big difference. As I wrote previously, we may lose but we will go down fighting. The politicians, mining and real estate lobbies can no longer take Goans for a ride.
