I can only say I have never read such balderdash in my
entire life and to think that a member of the Goan
intelligentsia, should be peddling such economic
fallacies, leads to me to believe that Goans are
living in a land of one-eyed kings. In his previous
article, he referred to Arabs as the laziest people in
the world, who would not even lift their hands to feed
themselves. Well, those same Arabs now enjoy one of
the highest per capita incomes in the world, and have
transformed their city-states into world-class
habitats. Perhaps we should take a page from their
books.
