I am considering filing a PIL with the hope to bring back Panjim's civic
health. Would anyone be interested in joining hands? Specifically, are you
willing to contribute financially towards lawyer fees etc? If yes, contact
me on email.
I have the following issues with the CCP.
1) Nuisance of unauthorized hawkers on bicycles all of Panjim.
2) Nuisance of unauthorized hawkers on pavements, and encroachments all
around the city.
3) Nuisance of CCP-sanctioned encroachment of numerous bhelpuri stalls on
the river promenade and the litter/garbage they generate.
4) Total lack of enforcement on sanitation - public urination and defecation
are now common sights in Panjim.
5) Turning of Miramar into a public bathroom.
