Gilbert's assertion about community decay due to a decline in
religious-moral grounding is the daftest thing I have heard in a little while.
Is he thinking of the decline of the Roman Empire? If so what is the evidence
of a decline economically and militarily due to something called a religious
religious -moral grounding? What is his historical evidence? I also wonder if
he would attribute the same to the British Empire that declined following two
world wars and the takever of world power by the USA?
Is Gilbert taken in by the Moral Rearmament Society?
