People just crowded around Jesus Christ when he went along preaching the word
of God. People found in him something different. Jesus died for us and by his
blood the Christian church was founded. We cannot afford to dismantle this
church of Christ .I appreciate criticism on the goanet only if it can bring
about a change. There are many who have been writing about the Catholic Church
for and against but nothing has happened so far. Those who write against are
castigated and are treated as mentally retarded .The fact remains that the
first and the last Christian died on the cross and unless and until a radical
change comes around Christianity will die a natural death. Today we have
Catholics standing in the church compound to hear mass because they feel that
their gossip carries more weight than what is preached inside. The church
itself never bothered to change the pattern of the mass and prayers since 1964
when the first Eucharist Congress was formed in Bombay People are not
participating in the mass whole heartedly.
