In the inaugural match of ONGC I League played today
at Jawaharlal Nehru Staium, Goa, Dempo SC defeated
Salgaocar SC by 3-0 margin.
Dempo took the lead in the 4th minute through Edeh
Chidi from the pass of Ranti Martins. Chidi scored the
second goal in the 25th minute from a beautiful
through pass. while Ranti Martins scored the 3rd goal
in the 68th to route Salgaocar.
Mahesh Gawli of Dempo SC was adjudged Man of the
Match.
