Hi Gilbert
I have fallen behind in my reading of Goanet but noted this one on cognitive
dissonance by you. Is it not surely so that, cognitive dissonance is
classically to be noted when, for example, a guy thinks he is a Catholic but
deep down in his psyche he is indeed Hindu in caste belief? Perhaps this is
also an example of being half-baked as I suggested before but will you be happy
if I simply see you as a good Hindu and not as a pretty confused Catholic to
stop an endless explanation for your cognitive dissonance?
I only ask to ascertain if you indeed know who exactly you are cognitively?
