Noted drummer dies in mishap
MARGAO, NOV 29 - Musician and ace drummer, Jose James Rebello (42) died in a
road accident at Seraulim on Thursday evening.
The accident occured on the Seraulim-Mungol road when Rebello was proceeding
to Margao in his Pulsor motrocycle GA 08 C 9360 when his two-wheeler
collided with an oncoming Hero Honda motorcycle.
Colva police said deceased Rebello landed in the adjoining water filled pond
due to the accident impact.
The Hero Honda rider along with the pillion rider fled the scene after the
accident.
Rebello's body was taken to Hospicio hospital this evening, from where it
was shifted to Goa Medical Hospital mortuary for want of space to preserve
dead bodies.
Loutolim MLA and Power Minsiter Alexio Sequeira, Zilla Panchayat member Joe
Dias and Seraulim Panch Agnelo D'silva also rushed to Hospicio hospital at
Margao.
